Microsoft Azure Local (ehemals Azure Stack HCI) ist eine HCI-Clusterlösung (Hyperconverged Infrastruktur), mit der virtualisierte Windows- und Linux-Workloads und ihr Speicher in einer lokalen Hybridumgebung gehostet werden, welche die lokale Infrastruktur mit Azure-Clouddiensten vereint. Dell Integrated System for Microsoft Azure Local ist ein speziell entwickeltes System, um die Azure Multi-Cloud-Umgebung mit integrierter, vollständig entwickelter Infrastrukturgrundlage zu vereinfachen und zu rationalisieren. Das integrierte System mit Full-Stack-Lebenszyklusmanagement und nativer Azure-Integration bietet einen effizienten Betrieb, flexible Nutzungsmodelle und ein hohes Maß an professionellem Fachwissen.

Diese können auch vom IT-HAUS erstellt und von Microsoft überprüft werden, um die beste Erfahrung bei der Ausführung von Azure Local zu bieten. Sie können Azure Local auch auf überprüften Knoten ausführen, die einen Grundbaustein für HCI-Cluster bieten, um Kunden eine größere Auswahl an Hardware zu ermöglichen. IT-HAUS dient Ihnen auch als zentraler Ansprechpartner für die Implementierung und für Supportleistungen.

End of Support
The approaching end of support for Windows Server 2012
Am 10. Oktober 2023 wird der erweiterte Support für die Versionen 2012 eingestellt. Die Host-Plattform Azure Local bietet ohne Extrakosten für die Gastbetriebssysteme Windows Server 2008 vier und für Windows Server 2012 drei zusätzliche Jahre Security Updates an. Dies gilt auch für die SQL-Server dieser Versionen.
