Our success story
Create something of your own -
that was the basic idea of the founders when they decided to set up a joint company at the end of the 1990s. As experienced sales people in an IT trading company, they focused on what they did best: selling. A name was quickly found, and so on April 1, 1998, the company began as a pure trading company for hardware and software: IT-HAUS was born.
A PC and a few pieces of office furniture brought from home -
That was all they needed when they moved into their first rented premises in the industrial park in Föhren, not far from Trier. With the addition of two employees, the five of them started out in 300 square meters of space.
Contrary to the general trend, IT-HAUS was already relying on its own storage capacities back then.
With success. The company grew rapidly, and with it the underlying concept: the expansion of the IT dealer into a comprehensive service center, the "IT-HAUS".
By 2001, the existing premises were no longer sufficient,
A new 1,400 square meter service center was then built. This finally provided enough space for an in-house workshop with its own technicians, so that the range of services could be expanded to include the core areas of repair, configuration and on-site installation. IT-HAUS increasingly established itself as a regional system house.
In the following years
new business areas were developed and additional employees were hired, whose skills also enabled the repair center to be authorized for an increasing number of manufacturers. As this also required expanded logistics, the management, now reinforced by Dr. Thomas Simon, decided that a new building was needed!
The foundation stone was finally laid in 2007.
for the 3,200 square meter service and logistics building at Europa-Allee 26. Further branches were added throughout Germany, and since then the number of employees has been in the three-digit range.
Today, IT-HAUS GmbH has more than 360 employees and a global partner network, supplies customers in 170 countries around the world and provides them with comprehensive support - from qualified advice and needs analysis to technical implementation and further services.
Speaking of service: "Anything as a Service " is the name of the game at IT-HAUS GmbH . As a Managed Services Provider (MSP ), it assumes responsibility for providing its customers with a defined range of services, for example to guarantee the smooth operation of PC workstations, server and storage landscapes or printer fleets. As part of a 360-degree service, full lifecycle management is always included - from commissioning and ongoing support through to end-of-life management.
In line with the needs of its customers, IT-HAUS is constantly evolving and today offers a more extensive range of managed services than almost any other provider. With the convenient all-in-one solution "XaaS by IT-HAUS", customers can simply combine the services they need and receive a complete package of infrastructure, hardware, software, service, monitoring, maintenance, updates and replacement devices as required.
Another focus is on the so-called Modern Secure Workplace, as the world of work has also changed fundamentally in recent years. Today's employees want to be able to work from anywhere and with any end device, but above all they want to do so securely. IT-HAUS supports them with modern workplace concepts that enable seamless communication and collaboration across locations and platforms while ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.
However, as the world of work becomes increasingly networked, the threat of cyberattacks is also on the rise. Added to this is global digitalization, which brings with it numerous opportunities and risks for companies. This is why IT-HAUS is now more than ever concerned with the IT security of its customers - from consulting to the design of security and emergency management strategies, their realization and technical implementation through to convenient threat management as a managed security service.
In order to be able to provide its customers with comprehensive service and support in the future, IT-HAUS attaches particular importance to sustainable IT.
