EXAMION is a specialist for digital radiography in human and veterinary medicine and sells both stationary and mobile X-ray systems worldwide. EXAMION systems are fully integrated solutions consisting of hardware and software components. While the company's own X-ray software is constantly being developed to keep pace with the ongoing developments in IT technology, the company places particular emphasis on the longevity of its hardware. When it comes to hardware, EXAMION has therefore relied on IT-HAUS as an OEM partner for many years, supplying customers with suitable IT products that they can install in their own systems as required. To this end, the IT-HAUS experts regularly consult with EXAMION's purchasing department about current requirements and jointly select suitable products - including PCs and workstations, but also notebooks that are used for portable X-ray systems. In the field of veterinary medicine, for example, EXAMION offers various case and bag solutions that have been specially developed for professional X-ray examinations in outdoor areas and for use on horses. The portable compact systems essentially consist of the X-ray detector itself and a notebook plus accessories. The detector and notebook communicate directly with each other to form a complete mobile X-ray system. In addition to the notebook's high computing and battery power, a high-resolution display and above-average screen brightness are particularly important in order to be able to display the excellent quality X-ray images optimally, even outdoors. In addition, the devices must be able to be operated either by click or gesture on the multi-touch monitor, by keyboard or touchpad.

With Lenovo hardware, EXAMION relies on devices that not only impress IT managers with their outstanding performance, but also the purchasing department in terms of price-performance ratio. Thanks to the wide range of Lenovo models and offerings, customers can draw on the full range of devices in all desired device classes, competently supported by IT-HAUS as a Lenovo Platinum PC Partner. For mobile use, the Lenovo ThinkPad systems designed for longevity are used by the customer. While the mobile workstations of the Lenovo ThinkPad P series impress with outstanding graphics and computing power, the dedicated NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ graphics card installed in the Lenovo notebooks also delivers impressive image quality. In the fifth generation, the Pro ultrabook has a 16-inch touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 165 hertz and 4K resolution, which achieves a brightness of 600 nits and thus defies even sunlight. The Lenovo desktops are available in several housing formats and form factors. Not only as a small form factor (SFF), but also in the tower version, the powerful computers save space and thus form an optimal hardware basis for the stationary EXAMION systems. The same applies to the ThinkStation P series workstations, which offer top performance from Tiny to Tower. Furthermore, the customer uses ThinkSystem servers in both tower and rack versions, which are equally compact, affordable and powerful. Based on half-yearly forecasts, IT-HAUS stocks all of the customer's expected requirements in its own warehouse at Föhren and delivers the required products on call, at the latest on the next working day. This significantly reduces delivery times and avoids supply bottlenecks. In addition, the life cycle of the devices can be extended as required in this way, which saves OEM customers like EXAMION in particular a great deal of effort. The customer also benefits financially in several ways: if the highest Lenovo partner status for IT-HAUS means the best conditions with the manufacturer anyway, then further price advantages can be achieved by purchasing and stocking higher quantities - in addition to the price guarantee. As a certified Lenovo repair partner, IT-HAUS is also authorized to replace notebook keyboards, for example, without voiding the warranty. This means that the devices can be delivered to EXAMION headquarters in the required country-specific versions.
