A quality and environmental management representative has been appointed and reports directly to the management as a staff position. In addition to the implemented continuous improvement process (CIP), active quality assurance measures include dual control principles in relevant processes, process support through checklists including a documented release procedure in the area of configuration, as well as the complete traceability of products requiring serial numbers. The implemented and audited emergency and crisis management ensures smooth operations even in exceptional situations.
Each department, including the associated processes, is audited annually, both internally and externally, in accordance with the audit program. This ensures permanent development and optimization of the system. Weaknesses can be uncovered and opportunities for improvement can be initiated. In addition, awareness-raising measures such as training courses or campaigns via the intranet improve the quality and environmental awareness of employees and thus optimize the achievement of quality and environmental goals.

To intensify our partnerships, both Purchasing and Sales hold regular strategy meetings with our strategic manufacturers, suppliers and partners.
We take responsibility for our environment and comply with all environmental laws and regulations. Environmental life cycle impact assessment of products and services to evaluate and monitor the impact of our operations on people and the environment is conducted annually. As a result of this assessment, our focus is to reduce CO2 emissions. In order to achieve this goal, the resulting measures are, for example, the continuous increase or adherence to the dropshipment quota, optimal route planning for technician assignments or the reduction of the use of packaging materials to a minimum. Annual quantitative environmental targets are defined and implemented by deriving appropriate measures. Our aim is not only to meet these self-imposed targets, but to exceed them. A review of the degree of target achievement is carried out at least once a year. In addition, many of our customers act in an ecologically responsible manner. We make our contribution by informing customers in discussions about environmentally conscious products. In doing so, we set the best example. Not only is communication with our customers actively characterized by environmentally conscious thinking, but employees in the company are also extensively informed. With success.
